How to Become a Member

• There's no fixed path but there is a core principle – show that you are willing and able to be a productive member of Solana city.
• A good starting point for anyone interested is understanding what superteam is really about. It IS NOT about events, hackathons, airdrops, fellowships, grants or merch. Those are tools. It IS about productive members.
• Everything is downstream of productive members. They ship code and content, build products and teams, and raise capital while generating earnings first for themselves and then for other members via bounties, jobs, contracts, etc.
• ALL value created goes directly to members, superteam is a public good with no treasury, no token and we do not take a cut of any earnings. We are here just to help accelerate and then get out of the way when not needed.
• BUT for this to work, members need to be willing and able to produce together. And for that to work, members first need to be willing and able to produce themselves.
• If a happy relationship is two happy people then a productive community is tens of productive individuals leveraged by the group.
• Some of the current paths to become a member: 1. win bounties posted by superteam india 2. win at the global hackathon 3. go fulltime freelance or get a job in the solana ecosystem 4. build a solana startup 5. build proof of work in public
• If you don't know where to begin with building proof of work: – find current members on X – contribute to their projects (event, hackathon, product, etc). – get paid for your work
• You don't need to be a superteam member to build on solana. Anyone with a laptop and an internet connection can earn & learn on solana by: – competing in open bounties or applying to projects – submitting a startup prototype to the global hackathon – contributing to ecosystem teams, working groups, mapathons, etc.
• Even if you don't end up joining as a member, you will: 1. get paid for your work 2. build new monetizable skills (150+ open jobs in the ecosystem) 3. make friends you can build with
• Here's a secret: that's how the best members operate anyway. They have a bunch of close friends and more group chats than they'd publicly admit. And they build cool stuff together.
• The goal is to ensure an abundance of ways to learn, earn and build on solana.
