Transcribe a Solana Core Community call and get it merged here.
Grant Agreement
Overview:
Just like community calls, there is a monthly call for Solana Core Devs and other Core Contributors to the Solana protocol. This call is 30 mins long. All calls happen on Zoom and are recorded. But to be more inclusive and easy to access, we are looking for volunteers to transcribe these calls.
Grant Recipient Eligibility:
To be eligible for this grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a dev or at least someone who is curious about dev concepts, this could be a good way to start
- You must be diligent and patient listener
Grant Deliverables:
The grant recipient will be expected to deliver the following:
- You listen to the full call and transcribe it word to word
- Add a list of speakers and include a link to their profiles
- Add a link to key concepts when mentioned in the call
- Not use any AI transcription tool
Community Calls
The following are calls that have not been transcribed and can be completed:
- 17 February 2023 — Timely Vote Credits, Application Write Fees
- 17 March 2023 — Epoch Rewards V2
- 21 April 2023 — QUIC, Syscall for Restart Slots,
- 19 May 2023 — Optimistic Cluster Restart Automation
- 17 June 2023 — Light Clients
The deliverable should be completed within the deadline which must be within 1 week of the application. Any use of AI transcription tools will result in blacklisting from further RFPs. In your application please mention which call you are transcribing. And to be eligible for payment please raise a PR on the link above.
